Blood Angels: Captain

For a while, I have wanted to add a bit more character to my Blood Angels army. I've got a lot of units, but not much in the way of flavour. So with that in mind, I kitbashed together Captain Guillaume Zophiel of the Scions Of Sanguinius 2nd Company.

As you can no doubt tell, the foundation of his body is one of the Dark Angel Veterans. If you like robes with your Marines, then that's definitely the kit for you.

I also worked in parts of the Death Company kit (backpack and wing adornments), Honour Guard kit (sword and shield), and Grey Knights kit (head).

I wanted to make sure that this guy was not overburdened with a surplus of detail, but looked interesting enough to be a reasonable centrepiece for a small combat patrol force.

Blood Angels: Captain

To be fair, this dude could be a Captain for any red/black/white coloured faction, since he's from the Assault on Black Reach boxset, and therefore super-generic.

He fits in quite well with my Blood Angels, though, so that's where he's staying for now.

Blood Angels: Master Of The Choirs

I decided that I wanted to use one of the 'Masters' with my Blood Angels, who are, if not tainted by Chaos, then are at least mildly influenced by the corruption of Slaanesh.  As such, he's a pallid chap.

I've painted him in gold to mark his authority within the ranks of the Blood Angels, and given him a red cape because... well... duh!

Well, here is the fearless leader of my Blood Angels! Although, saying that, he has never actually taken to the field of battle.  He's a lover, not a fighter.
